Tony’s strength and conditioning programs are built based his years of hands-on sport and performance training as well as modern research, integrated with the Burdenko Method. Tony works with each athlete in order to improve athletic ability and performance while also employing strategies for optimal muscle recovery and injury prevention.

Tony will start by testing an athlete’s physical qualities to determine deficiencies and create a personalized program for their improvement, customized to the player’s sport and goals.

An athlete can be “big and strong” but will still lose against someone with more overall athleticism or agility. The holistic performance of the athlete is affected by:

  • Balance
  • Coordination
  • Flexibility
  • Endurance (Cardiovascular, Muscular, and Psychological)
  • Speed
  • Strength

Tony identifies specific weaknesses that contribute the holistic performance of the athlete, and monitors improvement through assessments every two weeks. Each program is customized to improve in one or more of these areas.

Tony’s strength and conditioning programs are customized to each sport, and he is currently working with athletes in:
